Dr. Chen Min Qi graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore in 2005. He subsequently obtained his Master of Medicine (MMed) in General Surgery in 2015 and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSed) in 2010. In 2016, he was conferred the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSed) in General Surgery.
Prior to Private Practice
Before transitioning into private practice, Dr. Chen Min Qi held several key appointments. He served as an Occupational Therapy Committee Member and Junior Manpower Organisational Lead at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. In 2020, he was appointed Head of the Vascular Service at Woodlands Health, where he also served as an Executive Committee Member of the multi-disciplinary diabetic foot workgroup. He contributed to medical education as a clinical tutor at both Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS) and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (NTU), and actively supported academic advancement as a reviewer for the International Wound Journal. In addition, he co-chaired the Woodlands Health INSPIRE 2022 Congress on the ‘Holistic Management of Diabetic Foot Disease’ and is a member of the Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgeons of Singapore (SVESS).
Awards & Achievements
Dr. Chen Min Qi was awarded the prestigious Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) grant by the Ministry of Health, enabling him to pursue advanced subspecialty training in Vascular Surgery at the internationally renowned St Mary’s Hospital in London, United Kingdom.
